In Store: From 11/1/08 through 12/24/08 go
to a participating Hallmark Gold Crown store & make a purchase with your
Hallmark Crown Rewards Card for automatic entry.
One entry per member/per card/per day (a day is any 24-hour period
beginning at 12:00 AM ET).
Crown Rewards Cards are free. Each Crown Rewards Card holder is
responsible for making sure that Hallmark has his/her correct address/telephone
number. Via Phone: Watch
the featured Hallmark Channel holiday movies airing on 11/22/08, 11/29/08,
12/6/08, 12/13/08 and 12/20/08 at 9/8c (check your local listings for exact
movie titles, channel number and air times).
During each movie’s premiere telecast a message will appear on screen,
indicating that you have 30 minutes from that time to call the toll free number
displayed on screen to enter. You will not have a chance to enter during the
subsequent encore telecasts. Touch tone phones only. One phone call per
person/household/phone number per week.
Via Mail: On a 3 x 5 card, write your name, address, birth date &
daytime phone number & mail to: Hallmark Channel Holiday Homecoming Entry,
P.O. Box 7104, Kensington, CT
06037-7104, postmarked by 12/24/08 & received by 12/31/08. Limit one entry per outer mailing
envelope. If there is a dispute as
to the identity of the in-store entrant, the prize will be awarded to the
“authorized account holder” of the Hallmark Crown Rewards Card, who is defined
as the natural person to whom the Hallmark Crown Rewards Card is assigned.
Random drawing to be held on/about 1/30/09 from among all eligible entries
received. Winners will be contacted
by mail/phone, using only the latest contact information provided to Sponsors. Limit one prize per person/household. Odds of winning depend on total
number of entries received.
Prizes/Approx. Retail Values: (4) Grand Prizes - A catered
holiday dinner for 20 people including hors d’oeuvres, entrée(s), desserts, wine
and soft drink beverages, sales tax and gratuities, not to exceed $5,000. Grand Prize winner is responsible for
any other expenses incurred during the dinner. Other
items such as invitations, decorations, tableware, linens, glassware, and
flowers are NOT included. The dinner will be held at the winner’s home or at
another local location (approved by the Sponsor) should the winner’s home be
unavailable or unsuitable for this party. Value
of the catered dinner will vary depending on time of year and the location where
it will take place, and not to exceed $5,000.
The catered dinner must take place on dates approved by the Sponsor,
which may be subject to change. The Grand Prize also includes $25,000 in cash
(total Grand Prize valued at $30,000 each); (10) First Prizes - $10,000 in cash
each; (1,000) Second Prizes - a Hallmark holiday ornament collection ($182.50
each). The total approximate retail value
of the prize pool is $402,500.00. General
Rules: Open to legal U.S. residents and residents of Guam, 18 & older at
time of entry, except employees of Hallmark Cards, Incorporated, Hallmark
Marketing Corporation, Hallmark Gold Crown stores, Crown Media United States,
LLC/ Hallmark Channel, participating cable operators, satellite providers &
retailers, their respective affiliates, parents, subsidiaries,
advertising/promotion agencies, prize suppliers & their immediate family members
and/or those living in the same household of each. Void in Puerto Rico & where
prohibited. Income taxes are
winners’ responsibility. No transfer
or prize substitutions, except at Sponsor’s discretion. Grand & First Prize winners must sign
an Affidavit of Eligibility & Liability/Publicity Release within 10 days of
receipt or prize will be forfeited.
Prize acceptance constitutes permission for the Sponsors & their agencies to use
prize recipient’s name/voice/likeness for advertising/publicity without further
compensation unless prohibited by law.
Entrants agree to be bound by Official Rules & the decisions of judges. Sponsors & any
of their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, representatives, officers,
directors, shareholders & employees (collectively “Releasees”) are not
responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing, offering or
announcement of prizes.
Releasees are not responsible for lost/late/mutilated or illegible entries nor
for electronic transmission errors resulting in
omission/interruption/deletion/defect/delay in operations or
transmission/theft/destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry
materials or for technical/network/phone equipment/electronic/computer/hardware
or software malfunctions /limitations of any kind, or inaccurate transmissions
of /failure to receive entry information by Releasees or presenter on account of
technical problems. By participating
in promotion entrants agree to release, indemnify & hold harmless the Releasees
from & against any injuries, losses, damages, claims, actions or liability of
any kind resulting or arising from participation in the sweepstakes or
acceptance, possession, use, misuse or nonuse of any prize that may be awarded.
This sweepstakes shall be governed by
the laws of the State of Missouri without regard to principles of conflicts of
laws. All suits or actions with
respect to this sweepstakes must be brought in a federal or state court of
competent jurisdiction in Kansas City, MO.
